Best for Vets' Employer
< AwardsWe are proud to be named to the 2022 Best for Vets: Employers List by Military Times, an editorially independent program that produces a highly respected analysis of a company’s efforts to recruit, retain and support current and former service members, military spouses and military caregivers. Our firm placed seventh in the consulting category and 82nd out of all 175 employers profiled.
This honor reflects the deep commitment and influence Point B veterans and Point Bravo, our employee-led business resource group for veterans and military spouses, have in shaping the employee experience for veterans and the military community.
“We are honored to be included in this year’s Military Times, Best for Vets: Employers List. I would like to personally thank the Point B team for their continued support and partnership with Point Bravo, our Veteran Business Resource Group,” says Vincent Tarantino, Point Bravo leader. “Without their dedication this distinction would not have become a reality.”
This year, 230 organizations submitted responses to the Best for Vets: Employers Survey that was fielded from May through August. The full list of 2022 rankings can be found here. [link will be added after list is published].
“We are honored to receive our first recognition for supporting military associates, veterans, their families, caregivers and communities,” says Kelly O’Rourke, Point Bravo’s executive sponsor. “In partnership with our Point Bravo, our firm is deeply committed to expanding support for both active and transitioning service members, veterans and their families at Point B.”
In its 13th year, Military Times Best for Vets: Employers rankings are based on the results of a voluntary survey that covers policies and practices that make companies an attractive place to work for current employees and future job seekers within the military community. The survey captures the areas of greatest importance to transitioning service members, veterans, and their families when looking for an employer. Recruitment and employment practices, as well as retention and support programs, were given the most weight and importance in scoring and final rankings.
“Military Times continues to set the standard for employer rankings for transitioning service members and veterans. Although often imitated, there is no other list that comes close to Best for Vets: Employers,” says Mort Greenberg, SVP of media solutions at Military Times. “We stand by the rigor and soundness of this survey, which spotlights companies’ employment programs that help transitioning service members excel in their post-military careers.”
