| POINT B SOLUTIONS NAMES NEW PRACTICE DIRECTOR IN CHICAGO
04.28.08 CHICAGO (April 28, 2008)—Point B Solutions Group LLP, the first professional services firm to focus exclusively on project leadership and execution, and one of the “Top Small Workplaces in the U.S.” according to The Wall Street Journal, has promoted Chuck Ritter to the role of practice director in Chicago. “Chuck has a solid track record of entrepreneurship, business consulting, and leading important initiatives for clients,” says Jon Fleming, Chief Markets Officer of Point B. “As practice director, he will play a crucial role in demonstrating to clients and potential clients in the Chicago area the value that our firm can bring to their mission-critical projects.” Point B opened its Chicago practice in 2007 and has since worked with such local clients as Rush North Shore Medical Center and Underwriters Laboratories. An $80 million firm with 350-plus associates nationwide, Point B provides clients ranging from startups to Fortune 100 corporations with locally-based experienced leaders who can step into any segment or role for a strategic, high-profile and time-sensitive project and help lead it to success. Founded in 1995, Point B successfully completed more than 700 projects for clients last year. Ritter began working with Point B in 2004 as a senior associate. In his new role, he will take on responsibilities in the areas of associate development and strategic planning as well as growing Point B’s presence in the Chicago business community. At the same time, he will continue to work with clients to identify and resolve complex business issues. “It has been incredibly exciting to help build Point B’s practice in Chicago over the past year,” said Ritter. “As practice director, I look forward to attracting top talent, expanding our client base and deepening our roots here in Chicago while continuing to provide our existing clients with the world-class project leadership for which Point B is known.” Prior to joining Point B, Ritter worked with global IT consultancy Avanade in the implementation of Microsoft technologies. Prior to that, he spent more than nine years with Accenture. With a focus on financial services clients, he specialized in improving processes and operations, managing products and implementing systems. Ritter also co-founded Appointment-Plus, an online appointment capability for service providers.Ritter, who resides in Hinsdale, Ill., holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from South Dakota State University and a Master of Business Administration in Management from the University of South Dakota.
