Local business-consulting firm using executive leadership team to expand in Seattle while it preserves and extends its unique business culture throughout the region

SEATTLE, Wa. - Point B Solutions Group, LLP, a professional services firm specializing in project leadership, has promoted Paul Lambert to Practice Director in Seattle. Lambert, who will maintain his managing-director responsibilities at Point B, will serve as a spokesperson and help to manage the firm's growth in the local business community.

"As Point B continues to expand in Seattle and our other practice areas, we'll look to elevate experienced, highly strategic professionals like Paul into these positions of leadership," said Tim Jenkins, who founded Point B with two other partners to help organizations solve their most complex business issues through world-class project leadership services.

"Paul will provide our Seattle office focused leadership and a single point of contact to help us continue to build a distinct identity for our local practice." Point B's Seattle practice has grown by some 20 percent annually over the past five years. "He certainly has the skill set and the Point B track record to excel in this new position," continued Jenkins.

Point B established its first office in Seattle in 1995 before opening practices in Portland, Ore., Denver and Phoenix. The company plans to pursue additional growth opportunities in other regional markets that require experienced, customer-centric project-leadership professionals. According to Jenkins, that will require the emergence of executive leaders from within the firm.

Jenkins stated, "Our firm's business is based on cultivating leadership, something that's important to the growth of any business. Having someone who can help lead each practice will preserve the essence of what has made Point B successful over the past 10 years, ultimately enhancing the service we provide to our clients, as well as how Point B serves as an employer to our associates.

Lambert, who joined Point B in 1998 after serving as a project leader at a number of national consulting firms, is one of six managing directors in Seattle and seven company-wide. In addition to Lambert, Point B has practice directors in each of its three other offices in the region.

Lambert stated, "I look forward to helping our Seattle practice deepen its relationships with the local business community, while also continuing Point B's goal of becoming a great place for project leaders to thrive." Lambert, who will still work closely with his wide range of corporate clients in the Seattle area added, "I'm honored to take on this role and am excited by the various challenges that lie ahead."

Point B delivers world class project leadership services aimed at helping a range of organizations to solve their bottom line-oriented initiatives. Point B attributes its rapid growth to several factors, including the ability to generate repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals from clients, which range from startup organizations to Fortune 100 corporations throughout the region.

Lambert has extensive experience in the areas of enterprise project leadership, information systems and quality improvement. At Point B, Lambert most recently provided project leadership to a client on transitioning its line of business systems and infrastructure for a business acquisition.

Lambert has a Masters of Business Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He lives with his wife and two sons in Bellevue where they enjoy cycling, skiing and coaching his kids' soccer teams.
